Step one: What are you going to blog about? There are so many things to choose from but, there is one main topic nobody will be interested in. You. I hate to tell you the truth but unless you are some super celebrity nobody will be interested in reading about your weekend, thats what Twitter and Facebook are for.

Some great topics are:

Tech (News, Rumors, Reviews, Tutorials) One of the few times people want your opinion on something.
Science (Experiments, Facts, News, Stories)
World News (Hardest topic because you must take info from some other website)
Art (Photoblog, Photos)
Graphic Design (Coding, Building a Blog, Photoshoping)
Fashion (Fashion Stuff) I don’t know anything about fashion
Music (New Songs For Your Band, Get Noticed)
Gaming
Step Two: Choosing a blogging platform. In my opinion the best blogging platform in WordPress. The blog you are reading now is a WordPress blog! There are many other platforms though such as Blogger, Posterous, iWeb (the most annoying but, easiest way), and much more.

Step Three: Choosing a blog host (somewhere to store your files). The best place for your blog to be located, when starting out, is with the Platform’s website. For example WordPress.com (not .org) hosts thousands if not millions of blogs, that’s all they do. They do care if your blog is down and you will achieve optimum speed when using your Platform’s website to host your blog. This option is free but, your domain will be example.wordpress.com

Step Three Continued: Using a hosting website. Hosting your own blog can have its downsides. When your blog is down, they don’t care. As long they are getting traffic to their hosting, your blog will go back up when they get to it. There are free hosting websites out there, such as X10Hosting. X10Hosting is the company I used when first starting out. The only problem about a free host is that 1. you will not get a free domain name, 2. its free, this means hogging resources will cause your blog to be shut down. When I was using X10Hosting my blog was shut down several times and I was just able to download all my info before they shut me down for good. I had just posted something about the iPad coming to Verizon, it didn’t happen, but I got 1,500 hits instantly. As a result of hogging all the resources X10Hosting shut me down. The best way to avoid this is getting a paid host. Getting a paid host will not only give you more space, bandwith, and resource usage, it will most likely give you a free domain name (for about a year). The host that WordPress recommends is BlueHost. What ever you do DO NOT use iPage! Most likely the worst hosting I have ever experienced, my free X10Hosting is better than them!

Step Four: domain names. A domain name is your personal web address, such as BillyMcGovern.com. A domain name can be purchased through GoDaddy.com, which is the most recommended, or you may be able to get a free domain when purchasing a host.

Sylvie and Bruno is one of the most confusing books I’ve ever read. It’s basically about an old guy who finds himself in the fairy world one minute and the real world the next. It’s quite interesting really. Other than the one wink from Captain Lindon, there’s no evidence at all that any mortal besides the old guy has ever been to the fairy world. But that one wink was enough for me to make a video. I don’t even think the Captain Lindon character is revealed to be an atheist until the book’s sequel, Sylvie and Bruno Concluded. In the first book he makes his debut as a Renaissance Man of sorts, and rescues a child from being run over by a train.

None of the pictures used in this video are from the Sylvie and Bruno book. Thanks to oldbookillustrations.com for the Victorian era public domain pictures, and Dover publications for giving me permission to use the book cover art even though I chose not to use it. I used the same public domain music that I used in my video promoting abstinence.

At the end of the video there’s a claim that all systems of thought are either shrinking or they took a long time to grow. I’m not sure if Islam is an exception to this claim. I don’t know much about Islam.

In infrared photography, the film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light. The part of the spectrum used is referred to as near-infrared to distinguish it from far-infrared, which is the domain of thermal imaging. Wavelengths used for photography range from about 700 nm to about 900 nm. Usually an “infrared filter” is used; this lets infrared (IR) light pass through to the camera, but blocks all or most of the visible light spectrum (the filter thus looks black or deep red).

When these filters are used together with infrared-sensitive film or sensors, very interesting “in-camera effects” can be obtained; false-color or black-and-white images with a dreamlike or sometimes lurid appearance known as the “Wood Effect.”

This video is supposedly showing a small Earth moving outside the Apollo 11 spaceship windows, when they are supposedly on their way to the Moon.

As the faked Earth transparency is moved to the right on the outside of the window, at :34 following close behind, a dark Blackboard outside the window is moved across to the right. The sharp diagonal line of the Blackboard is seen against the left side of the fake Earth transparency, then at :36 the Blackboard is slammed shut.

At 1:09 the camera has moved over to the other side of the spaceship to show another fake Earth transparency outside another window. At 1:45 as the fake Earth transparency is moved to the right, a dark Blackboard outside the window is seen coming from the left, the Blackboards sharp diagonal line is clearly seen to the left of the fake Earth transparency, then at 1:49 the Blackboard is slammed shut.
