How do I go about starting a website for a class project?

I actually have to start a website for a business. I am going to do a well know finance company, but I have to pay for the website myself, so I am trying to find the cheapest way to start one. I am just not sure exactly how to get started, and I don’t want to pay for a bogus website. Anyway, any help is welcome. Thanks.

Nothing difficult about this. You can just buy a domain name and hosting space from any of these websites like
godaddy.com
namecheap.com
bluehost.com

The difficult thing would be how you going to create the website if you don’t have any knowledge about the coding.

There are lots of sites you can build for free. You will have to get a domain name and the cheapest there is with GoDaddy.com.

    See this one for instance:

You need to register a domain name. Try Google App under Google business solution and setup a domain for $10 annually. After that, you setup your own website for free.
