    Easiest way to implement cross-language web indexing would be TLD-level translation filters. Since you don’t need to translate WORDS in such a system, JUST CHARACTERS, you can easily make the net universally-accessible based on your browser’s language setting.

    For instance, the iconographs for chinese characters can be linked to the iconographs for latin characters to those for hebrew, and so on. The SOUNDS of those characters doesn’t mean squat, it can be arbitrary as AND STILL WORK!
